Queen Kong and So Long Seven nominated for Canadian Folk Music Awards!

We’re so pleased to hear that our clients Queen Kong and So Long Seven have been nominated for Canadian Folk Music Awards this year!

Queen Kong – the Toronto Klezmer fusion band led by drummer Lorie Wolf – is nominated for Instrumental Group of the Year. Additionally, Wolf is up for Instrumental Composer of the Year.

Jazz/folk fusion group So Long Seven is up for Instrumental Group of the Year and the Oliver Schroer Pushing the Boundaries Award.

Congrats to both bands!

East Coast Music Awards 2022

A huge congrats to Beth McKenna and the Montreal Jazz Trio on their East Coast Music Award nominations!

Both McKenna (a saxophonist originally from Nova Scotia) and the Montreal Jazz Trio (lead by the NS raised pianist Steve Amirault) released fantastic records in 2021, and we at Orange Grove Publicity are very happy to have been involved in their promotion.
