The much-anticipated release of solo record Curtains of Light from jazz singer-songwriter Whitney Ross-Barris. Featuring multi-instrumentalist Michael Shand, drummer Ben Wittman, bassist Ross MacIntyre, guitarist Eric St-Laurent, trumpeter Rebecca Hennessy and saxophonist Amy Peck.
Come to the beautiful, newly-opened Nancy and Ed Jackman Performance Centre in midtown Toronto and be gently immersed in Whitney’s unique live music and lyrical story-telling experience. Jazz, neo-soul and soundscaped spoken word reflecting the shadows and light of these last five complicated years.
