Jami Templeton’s professional career began at age 20 with an encouragement award from the Metropolitan Opera, and has been flourishing ever since. Ms. Templeton studied classical voice under esteemed master teacher, Trish McCaffrey in her private studio, and at Manhattan School of Music. She also studied extensively under the creator of Speech Level Singing, Seth Riggs followed by 2 years of immersive study in jazz under many legendary performers in NYC. Jami Templeton has performed all over the world in the realms of classical, pop, jazz and cabaret. After a long battle with Lyme disease, she is back with a new album, and a renewed gratitude and passion for life, and the music.

Jami’s upcoming album “The Shape of My Heart” is slated for release on February 4, 2022. It is arranged and produced by Grammy winner, Andy Langham, and features Joel Frahm on the tenor saxophone, Andy Langham on piano and melodica, Edwin Livingston on bass, and Charles Ruggiero on the drums.
